The deal reportedly addresses concerns the Federal Trade Commission has had about alleged violations of children's data privacy laws.

Pocket money for google. 

 

The EU has in total already fined google €8.2 billion / $9.3 billion 

 

just recently in march of this year they got fined €1.5 billion for antitrust violations

The only people going to suffer are are the children channels.

In theory, if you are under 13, you don't have a YouTube channel. You aren't supposed to be able to open your own account below that age, and if you post, it is supposed to be under the supervision of an adult.

Doesn't YouTube Kids allow you to use the application without an account? Although something tells me nobody uses YouTube Kids anyway.
