Windows 8.1 is stupid

Windows 8.1 apparently isn't smart enough to determine that I don't have a touch screen and proceeds to tell me how to use my nonexistent touch screen to switch between apps.

Is there a way to do this in VMWare? Not really a problem.  It's just annoying because that message comes up every time I start the VM.

I have a feeling your reason is "i don't like metro and don't have a touch screen"

It's not even a fair comparison, 8 and 8.1 are just flat out superior to 7.

I actually like Windows 8. Mainly for some of the apps, and how testicle-blazing fast it is.

Right click it when it's off, and choose settings. It's somewhere in there, under boot devices I think.

No they aren't. 7 is much better for advanced users.      This is my opinion. Others have made valid points to contradict it.

Easier to use in general. Everything. I have windows 8.1 in a vm with startisback. I will not downgrade from windows 7 to windows 8.1.
