It's good, but your'e right it's very expensive. the Mastercase H500 has 100% of the airflow of the H500M for half the price. There's also cases like Meshify C, Enthoo Pro M TG, Focus G and Masterbox MB511 RGB just to name some of the more popular cases.

Since my current case has alot of issues in terms of cooling (CPU cooler height, airflow...) i'm looking for a new case.

 

I'm looking for a case with good airflow and that looks good, with a min. CPU cooler height of 167mm.

 

I've found the Cooler Master Mastercase H500M, which is rather on the expensive side but that's my limit. Is this case any good? Or do you have any other suggestions?

For budget Im a huge fan of the Cougar MX330-X variant.  I was so interested in it (to compare to my CoolerMaster HAF XM - which stands for HIGH AIR FLOW) I bought one and swapped my RR1 rig into it and my temps are what I would expect.  Entire front mesh, side panel intake, top and rear exhaust with a basement for $42 shipped?  Its a great deal imho

The three best cases for airflow are the Silverstone* RV02, PM01, and RL06. With your need for a 167mm cooler, that means the PM01 unless you've got like 8 HDDs.

*It's kinda funny that when they actually bother to design for such Silverstone makes the best airflow focused cases.
