Do These Parts Look Ok?

i7-8700

MSI Z390-A PRO LGA1151

Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB (4x2) 2666

PowerColor RX580 8GB RED DEVIL

Antec Twelve-Hundred 750 (not changing this bc I have this already and it comes with a 750-watt power supply)

Seagate Barracuda 1TB (not changing this either bc I have this too)

(PS. cant get an SSD due to the budget)

And finally ill see if I can get a CPU cooler at the micro center (don't give me suggestions on the CPU cooler)

DO NOT TELL ME TO GO WITH AMD CAUSE I HATE THEM (dont ask long story)

overclocking motherboard, for 9th gen no less, with a locked 8th gen CPU? why though? If you want team blue, the smart move is an H370 (or B360 if you can live without the bells and whistles) for that 8700, or the 9700 (non-k) if you find one.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

At least go with a 'K' cpu for overclocking. A Gigabyte Z390 UD is better than that MSI board. Aim for 16GB ram. You can get a kit for around $50.
