I have chosen parts for a gaming rig, any advice?

Hi there

As the title says I have chosen the main components for a build which is mainly for gaming and I would like to get any advice for it. I don't know much about computers and I don't wanna mess anything up or something.

If you guys want to suggest better/alternate parts for what I've chosen then the prices can change +/-50€.

Any advice is welcome!

I'm from Estonia.

 

CPU - AMD RYZEN 5 3600 ~225€

GPU - SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON RX 5700 XT ~445€ > 480€

COOLING - CROSAIR H55 120mm AIO ~70€ > 0€

RAM - TEAM T-FORCE VULCAN 16GB 3200 (2x8GB) ~85€

MOBO - TOMAHAWK STRIX B450-F ~120€ > 105€

STORAGE - KINGSTON A1000 M-2 NVME 240GB ~45€

PSU - CORSAIR CX550W 80+ BRONZE SEMI-MODULAR ~85€ > 65€

CASE - FRACTAL DESIGN FOCUS G ~50€

 

Full price: ~1125€ > 1095€ > 1055€

Budget: Max 1200€

 

Edit 1: Added my country, budget and approximate prices in my region.

Edit 2: Replaced the 650W PSU with a 550W one, replaced the MOBO from Asus to Tomahawk, refreshed prices.

Edit 3: Crossed out the cooler and replaced the GPU from AMD to Sapphire Pulse.

If you dont have much experience get a good aircooler, less maintanance better cooling and way cheaper! (Even AIO's need maintanance and have risk of leaking, very slim risk but still)

For the rest, very nicely sought out list. Should all make a good gaming rig.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

you dont need more than 550w of the same PSU.

For the SSD: Go with something from Samsung if possible, like a 860 EVO/PRO, they are more reliable and faster for not much more usually.

For the cooling: Avoid small (120/140mm) AIOs, they are usually worse than even medium sized air coolers, go for something like a Noctua U12S-AM4

For the Motherboard: IMO seems fine, but will need a BIOS update, I usually go for whatever board has the most ports/features for my price point.

For the PSU:  get a 80+ gold nice quality 550W/650W like a SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Gold 550 W

they also cost way too much. there is no reason to go samsung.

um..... the focus line of PSUs have OCP related issues. they are worse than the cx550 which is what he should be going for. or something similar depending on the region. focus line should be avoided untill there is a fix. apperantly a V2 with the fix is comming this year, but no fix has yet arrived.

AIOs have zero maintenance. That is the whole point of an AIO compared to custom loop. You need to clean the dust out but you need to do the same on air coolers.
