I don't use either, but I think LED strips would be better because it gives a nice glow all around and not in one spot like LED fans.

Strips will light better but they are a pain to route through the case.

I use a mixture of both, the Enermax TB Apollish fans have quite a premium appearance in my opinion, they light the top of my case, an LED strip should light the bottom, its just not working atm though :<

Strips first then IF you need the look of the LED fans then you can get some.

Strips, because I have some coming out my case and going behind my monitors, so when I turn on my PC my entire setup lights up.

Fans. Although not as bright and you can't place them anywhere, they are much more functional.

I have both! I didn't vote because no option existed :( My case was just too big for just either, both work nicely.  :D Also I'm going to be tinting my side panel for a "smoked" effect which is going to look awesome If I say so myself. :)

I have that too!  I've got two red led strips powered by the USB hub on my panel that gives a nice glowing effect.

I don't like LED's much, if I were going to have some it would be strips. LED fans are bloody disgusting.

Strips. Sooo much brighter.

With the right placement of a small strip of leds in one corner and an led fan on the other side, I find the subtle glow of the fan gives it a nice accent if it were an alternate color from the strip.

Edit:

On second thought, sometimes the right fan lighting can look damn good. I still choose led.

Strips you can hide them and you can make them change colors and make cool effects with them

LED Strips gets my vote, I like the amount of customization you can have with em.

Don't have LED fans, but I use a strip to back light my desk. I like the effect and the nice spread of light, so I'm guessing the same would apply to a PC interior. I plan on making an extensive review of the LED strip I use too.

I use fans, cause it's much easier to install in my PC, would definitely go for strips in the future :)

I like LED strips because they are usually brighter and will light up the system better than fans imo.
