Fractal Design Meshify clearance?

Hello everyone, been eyeing the Fractal Design Meshify C TG case for my next PC build and i was wondering if anyone that has this case encountered clearance issues regarding AiO. I'm planning to go with H115i platinum on top and i have trident z rgb ram. Would those two interfere with each other? Thanks in advance

After looking at 50+ completed builds on PCPartPicker using TridentZ/TridentZ RGB RAM, 280mm AIO liquid coolers and the Meshify C, I've seen not a single person do a top mounted radiator.

 

I personally run a 240mm radiator (62mm total thickness) and standard height RAM, but it works just fine since the case offsets the 120mm fan mounts on the top and my motherboard's heatsinks aren't too high profile. I can't say for certain, but I don't think it would fit. From the images I've seen, it looks extremely tight. I also did a build for my cousin in a Meshify C using an H100i GTX (240mm) and with his VRM heatsinks and Ripjaws V, it was quite a close fit:

 

 

You could either do a front mount (depending on your GPU's length) or go with a 240mm Corsair H100i Platinum or NZXT Kraken X52. I personally think that the difference in temps (likely around 2-3C) isn't really worth the potential headache. Note that RAM isn't necessarily your only concern, as many modern motherboards have fairly large VRM heatsinks.

Yeah i don't even think the h100i will fit bcz of the motherboard, z390 Aorus Ultra. I think ill look for another case. Looking for a good case is a headache i didn't not expect. Thanks for your help and the picture.

Why not an air cooler? The Meshify C has a ton of clearance for large air coolers.

I already got an H115i at home. I don't think any air cooler would handle i7 9700k 5ghz except Dark rock 4 pro or Noctua D15, i may be wrong though.

Well, then you're mistaken. Don't get under the impression that AIO liquid coolers are better than air coolers, because they're not. They're generally louder, more expensive, and less reliable than air coolers. The Dark Rock Pro 4 can easily handle an i7 9700K, and so can many other CPU coolers.

I know that there're good air coolers out there, the only reason im going with h115i now if because i already have it. Otherwise, i'd go with the dark rock pro tr4

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG, it's essentially a slightly longer Meshify C
