Looking for budget wifi card for gaming

ARandomGui

So I can no longer keep my pc next to my router and unable to route ethernet to my pc so I am in the market for a wifi card in the sub $50 but preferably sub $40 and just looking for some recommendations. If it helps my mobo is a gigabyte b350-ds3h and cpu is a ryzen 3 2200g

Edit: I will be using it for gaming and YouTube and my router is on my main floor and my pc will be in the basement about 50-60 feet away

USB 3.0 wifi adapters work pretty well for budget solutions, I recommend the cheapest dual antenna one you can find.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

at that distance on different floors you need a ethernet cable

if you cant have ethernet cable the next option should be a powerline, from the router to your room where the pc is located

wifi sucks for gaming, alot

Yeah that might be asking a lot.  WiFi has better range horizontal than vertical.  At my friends relatively small house, the WiFi is on the floor in the loft and on the ground floor, two floors down, there is pretty much zero reception and that's way less than 50 feet.

Have you tested with something like a phone to see what reception is like down there?

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

On my iPhone 6s I can get about 55mb on the download and 9 up it’s only about 7ft down with thin walls
