Cheap Movies for Plex

Hey guys

 

So I'm looking for somewhere to get modern film downloads on the cheap for my plex server.

I'll get hate but I was torrenting but now hardly anyone is seeding them these days so I need to find something better.

 

Anyone got any ideas of where I can get the new dvd releases cheap

We're not allowed to encourage piracy on this forum. As far as I know there is no legal way to obtain movies in a format that would be adequate for plex unless you buy them through normal means and rip them yourself - though be aware that in some countries the act of ripping itself is considered illegal.

 

If you want to buy movies legally and for decent prices, amazon is a good place to look.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

You cannot download movies legally without using some applications like netflix, hulu etc.

Is it against the rules to talk about Kodi and the Yoda app?  I am not 100% sure tbh since its streaming (not for profit) and not downloading anything...

if you have plex pass, you can get a tv tuner and an antennae and record live over the air tv. itll even automatically strip out commercials.

i've gotten a few of my movies this way. movie plays on tv, i just dvr it straight in plex.  (most of mine are torrented though)

Yes it is, it's piracy down to the bone. Piracy includes ripping, distributing and consuming.

ripping is often not considered piracy.

in most places, you can rip a movie that you own as long as you dont intend to share or distribute it.

Yes, there are some place that consider ripping legal, but for personal use only.
