Selling rtx 2070 for rx 5700xt

I bought this thing for like 68,000 JPY (650 usd) in december. Now I am planning to sell this to my gf who is currently thinking about building her own gaming pc for 50,000 JPY (500-550usd). Is it worth trading the rtx 2070 for the rx 5700xt? I own a freesync monitor 1440p 144hz. Now my monitor isn't officially supported by nvidia gsync drivers but I think it works just fine, it might be smoother if I get the amd gpu tho. I am considering the rtx 2070 super oc which costs about 72,000 JPY (700usd).

Considering you're selling it to your gf, it's a small amount for an upgrade but more importantly, she can game all badass too.

Considering @MoneyISthebottleneck is running a FreeSync monitor, it could be an upgrade to consider -- especially if the feature is being used.

If you are just going to have FreeSync disabled, then it is all up to you.

Go for the 5700xt if you have a freesync panel. Especially if its cheaper than the 2070 super. The 5700XT may have better longevity as optimization becomes a thing it depends on the games as well and if you have a very peculiar eye you might notice some better colors due to the better color compression on AMD. Plus Wattman and ReLive generally have less performance hit not to mention FidelityFX. On the other hand if you need raw frames Nvidia is better plus the NVENC encoder is better. They're both great choices at their prices and each one has better use cases. Personally I would go with the XT but i don't really care about RTX or NVENC. DLSS is a meme so don't even worry too much about that.
