Can connect to internet via router

MikeKachowskii

Ok so I'm at my grandparents house with my itx pc, gonna be here for a little while, and when I plug my PC into the router via Ethernet , windows just says "Unidentified network" and "No internet", I think I may be blocked off the network in some way, how does one bypass this

We need a lot more information about their networking setup to help. Most routers and modems should just assign an IP via DHCP, however, their's might not be configured this way, so more details = more better.
