The g4560 is a great budget CPU, but I don't know about that motherboard. How much do you want to spend on the motherboard? Posted June 23, 2019 The price matters as to whether or not it's worth it, if this is an inexpensive upgrade then it's worth it but those are last gen parts. If you're buying new then you can do better I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B Primary PC: i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me. Posted June 23, 2019 Consider buying a high end FM2+ APU used on eBay or something. That will be a cheaper upgrade and give you quite a performance boost. Look into the A10-7890K (if you want an iGPU) or the Athlon X4 880K (if you don't need an iGPU) Otherwise the G4560 is a good cpu, but i'd consider going with a more modern socket, like AM4, so you could easily upgrade your chip in the future. Posted June 23, 2019 How much would it cost to upgrade to a G4560? If it's over $100 then I wouldn't recommend doing it, G4560 is only worth it if it's an inexpensive upgrade. I'd recommend upgrading to something like a Ryzen 3 1200/2200G if it fits your budget.
 Posted June 23, 2019 Unless the G4560 is very, very, very cheap, id suggest skippikg that for something worthwhile

And since its an older plattform an old prebuild is a much better buy
