Noob to water cooling.

I'm possibly going to be putting together a custom loop for a 3570K and GTX 780.  I'm wondering if there is a reputable site that sells good starter kits that would include the pump/res/rads/tubing/and blocks all in a sort of pre assembled kit.  I wouldn't want anything absolutely insane price wise as this will be my first loop, but something that I could use and maybe upgrade to compression fittings later that has a rad that would last me a while.  I would be upgrading from an H100.  I'm sure there must be a site that specializes in this.  Can anyone help me narrow my search?  Thanks in advance for any help/guidance!

He will still need an extra radiator, more coolant and a GTX 780 block.

well I really doubt your going to find a kit with exactly everything. coolant should really just be distilled water with some silver (squib)???

Forget kits, build your own loop, it can get pretty affordable with barb fittings and decent parts.

kits can be great starters, but tend to support only CPU loops. certain recommendations need to

be made for CPU/GPU loops and really no starter kits is good enough to provide all that information.

also, depending on location, availability and cost can be a factor.

blocks are pretty much a aesthetic choice. the top brands all perform within a slight margin of error.

pump used most is the D5 (mcp655). quiet, powerful for multi-block use.

reservoir is again aesthetic choice. bay mount or tubular.

tubing choice whether using distilled water or premixed coolants could be a problem. some coolants

do not play well with some coolant/dyes.

a lot of this is spilled in the two pinned topics in the water cooling section:

Cheap and watercooling don't tend to mix well. Nature of the hobby bud, you're going to be running $400 minimum.

@Missioncode Thanks a ton dude.  That's going to really help with the decision making.  And thanks everyone else.

@KylSp 400 is easily in my budget.  Not looking for cheap, in fact I never said the word cheap.

Personally this is what I would get

  • Alphacool NExXxos ut60 Rad (if you can fit it)
  • EK 780 VGA block
  • Pick a D5 Pump/ res (I use an XSPC bay res, but go tube res if you want )
  • Pick out some tubing (I have had good luck with masterkleer 3/8 ID 1/2 OD)
  • Pick out compression fittings (I recommend bitspower or monsoon)
  • Pick up some distilled water, and add some anticorrosion/anti algae
  • Profit

There is no such thing as narrowing down the water cooling parts. You have to know what you are looking for and if your case can fit all the parts. Here are some kits for you to browse through. Make sure what ever you choose has support for the Socket 1155 as that is your CPU's socket and for a extra water block which would be the for the GPU. So you are looking for a strong pump and a 360mm radiator in either a combination of 3 x 120mm single radiators, 1 x 120mm + 1 x 240mm radiator or 1 x 360mm radiator. The thicker the radiator, stronger the fans and pump, the better cooling performance.

I was going to get a kit my first time but i think you get a better experience picking your loop components. If you really want a kit you can get them here: http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l3/g30/c83/s137/list/p1/Liquid_Cooling-Water_Cooling_Kits_Cases-Water_Cooling_Kits-Page1.html

It's like building a PC, you want to pick the parts. I would get to know everything in the loop (its really easy) and find out what's good. Then go from there. You should try that and post another topic to get some help.
