[US, new jersey] $25 for 12 metric tons of hdd-less computers

Wiflare

Imagine all of the cpu keychains one can make!

Someone could just buy that, scavenge all of the gold pins on the cpu and make more than $25

No other time in my life have i wanted to live in new jersey.

What I would do is buy 768 cheap hdds and make a botnet folding warehouse.

Woo!

Not $25 really, but it'll be interesting to see how high the bidding goes.

You have to make an account to bid on it. I imagine they'd require a credit card.

Well, you can scrap it. Good luck picking up 12 tons of computers.

If you're actually serious about bidding on such a lot, I imagine you would spend the $500 to get it picked up.

Drill a hole in the CPU and put it on the key ring.

I remember when nvidia used to sell gpu keychains

There are some threads about it on the forum :) Here is one:

yea but i think i'd be a bit too big for a keychain. I've actually thought about drilling a hole in it before tho.

If I was in New Jersey and had a large cargo truck to spare I'd buy it.

I can be a cynical a**hole at times. I apologize if I cause any offence at those time. I also occasionally have issues communicating my point. Extreme introversion + Photographic memory + Some other things.

Damn, I live in New Jersey, but I don't have anywhere to put it if I do get it. Nor have anything to do with it.

I've seen deals like this several times.

Except I have never seen 12 tons of computers. Maybe like 200lbs but never 12 tons.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Anyone wanna help me move 768 hard drives :P

They are HDD less.

It'll go well over $1k. Wouldn't be surprised if it went over $10k.
