The next best value cpu from Ryzen 3000

The 2000 series it was the r5 2600, which do you think will be the next best value cpu?

Still the 6 core 12 threads 3600 or the latest 3700X 8 core 16 threads?

$199 for 6cores/12 threads more then enough for gaming and light streaming?

Thank you AMD.

thats just an overclocked 3600...

3600 has best gigahertzcore per dollar

(cores * gigahertz)/dollar

You could say that for every x000X for any ryzen series.

Not true, the 3900X is what my brother calls the Intel killer.

OK I need to edit it to almost all of them (except Ryzen 9). Well it's because ATM is one of a kind maybe at E3 there is 9 3900 non X, you never Know.

Agreed, then it be more like :

*AMD walks up to Intel * : *drops their pants and smiles, today I'm making you my b*tch.

*Intel has no choice but bend over*

Lets see real reviews before calling it the Intel killer, because by the time it is avaliable Intel could drop prices or could launch something slightly better

If we don't have real reviews we can't say which CPU has the best value, it's anounced as $199 but shops could be selling them for more

Lets wait until we can buy them and watch real benchmarks and reviews, but imho the 3600X could easily get 5GHz OC'd if the bost is 4.4, I don't know if there will be a Ryzen 7 3700 but could be the 3600X killer as the 2700 was the 2600X killer for the price

With Intel's 14+++++ even they do get a better clock on the rumored 9900 non K the IPC is still dead in the water. I think there won't be any 3700 because of the 3700X and 3800X are both 8 core 16 threads.

Thank you AMD.

For gamers, 3600 would be enough to make the majority happy, and would you overclock to 3600x performance.  Otherwise go straight 3600X

Intel 12400F | 2x8 3000Mhz Corsair LPX | ASRock H570M-ITX  | Noctua DH-N14 | Corsair MP50 480GB | Meshilicious | Corsair SF600Fedora

Thanks let me know if I said something useful. Cheers!

Depends on overclocking either the 3700x or 2600 probably, $50 plus doesnt seem worth it for the upgrade from those

So in many cases a lot of the players won't be going for X570 boards then, unless they go for the 3700X or 3800X?

i bet even the budget editing build would be sufficient with a 3600/3600X especially at that price point.

Exactly this, I just did a buy, don't buy guide based on existing systems.  Dual M.2 Pcie 4.0 is overkill for all but the most wealthy gamers, PCIe 4.0 is available on X470 and B450.  Really you are looking at performance, what game is someone playing where solely CPU performance is the deciding factor maybe Battle Field.
