What? What SSD exactly? but all in all Intel and Samsung have the two most reliable line ups, it should be perfectly fine to install your OS in one... considering it's brand new.

I dont see why there would be any issues unless its a poor quality ssd.

The Intel 600p had issues from what a few folks here had said,  but the new 660p is pretty good, haven't read anything so far about problems.
