the very concept of the idea that doge coins would be better supported than litecoins is ludicrous.

I don't think ltcasics has steam games/gift cards. Please post a direct link if I'm wrong.

There are currently more options to spend Bitcoins, consider using any of the few sites which allow Bitcoin for Steam gift cards. I wouldn't recommend buying game keys directly with Bitcoin, similar to sketchy key sellers, if the keys were obtained by credit card fraud, you could have issues with your steam account.

Have you tried the humble bundle store? They accept Bitcoin, as well as donate 10% to charity. https://www.humblebundle.com/store The library isn't exceedingly big, but with time and added interest it will grow.

A site with an "okay" pricing is http://www.itradebtc.com/ integrated with Bitpay and very small fee/markup. I have not used and cannot attest for their legitimacy.

anoter site which offers gift cards, they are overpriced at the moment, having the merchant low ball the Bitcoin to USD price so he can make some profit. https://www.steamloader.com/ I would recommend watching the site, but avoiding it for now.. Current rates are as follows $10 gift card at 1 BTC = $715. $20 gift card 1BTC:$770. $50 gift card 1BTC:$793. and $100 gift card 1BTC:$800.  Current average price of 1 Bitcoin weighted across exchanges, $849 https://bitcoinaverage.com/#USD-nomillibit I have not used and cannot attest for their legitimacy.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Wouldn't it better to just convert your LTC into BTC, and then use a website that has BTC built into its payment options?

For the most part Bitcoin is more widely accepted, and it's recommended to do this. The lack of acceptance is from third party payment processors such as coinbase or bitpay which don't accept Litecoin at the moment. As more payment processors gain more ground this should change. https://www.gocoin.com/ and https://coinkite.com/ both are very promising up and coming processors which accept Litecoin as well as Bitcoin.

Just make sure you make it known by sending an email to the website begrudgingly stating you wanted and would have purchased more if they accepted Litecoin as well. Crypto-Currencies don't have PR or lobby groups to gain exposure, if you want Litecoin accepted on a site, go out of your way to spread the word.
