Anyone know how to fix an air humidifier?

billabeasta

Hey Everyone,

So I got this air humidifier as a gift, which was really nice, but now it doesn't seem to work right. So the fan kicks on super hard and makes a high pitch annoying noise, it doesn't actually do it's job unless it is cranked all the way to max, and even then only after a few minutes. I tried cleaning it out to see if that was it, but it didn't seem to help that much. Not sure if anyone else ever had that issue but I figured to ask. Plus it is nice to have when either me and my fiance are sick. I am trying to get it fixed because it worked when I was sick, and not when she was, for which I got in trouble for not fixing it. I would just get a new one, but it was a nicer model, and a gift from her parents so I want to give it a solid try. Thanks for any help!

If you do not find any help here, go to any Air/Conditioner forums.
