That's not true. You can buy all Corsair PSUs with no power cords (-ww variants, just like how there's -au, -eu, -uk, -za... variants for each different power cable).

 

And a lot of PSUs sold as "OEM units" don't either.

 

A power cable only costs a couple of dollars, and if it's real cable (not those copper coated aluminium crap that you get off eBay with the death laptop chargers), and the right connector, it will work. I know I have about 15 spare lying around in my house (though a lot are pre 2005 AU cables, so I would not use them).

Yeah, it should.

And if its not, you can buy a cord in every somewhat decent Electro(nic) store.

Its called "Cold Plug".

Those Plugs are Standardized and widely used!

Nope, there are some (rare) Exception.

IIRC older Antec EarthWatts or even lower than that didn't come with a Power Cord.
