Hey!

I'm about to buy my new PC and I will order the parts in early February. I'm going to play games such as LoL, Hearthstone, PoE and a bunch more. I would love if I didn't had to make any major upgrades in the next 2-3 years and still go strong! I need to buy OS as well as a monitor. I got mice, headset and keyboard. This is what I've found myself: https://www.komplett.dk/k/shoplist.aspx?mode=receive&si=1338786&su=81D78F7C-08D9-4421-A56B-E0B1EF9CF446 with this monitor: http://www.ebay.com/itm/27-QNIX-QX2710-Evolution-2-ll-2560x1440-WQHD-Samsung-PLS-Monitor-Matt-Screen-/130868312541?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item1e785bf9dd

What do you guys think? Since this is my first build, I would like to Overclock, but not test the components limits.

I'm a but unsure about the monitor. I will be ordering this to Denmark and thus I would like to have the seller to write a different value due to very high custom fees. And I like the promotion where there is 0-2 dead pixels max. But is this the best one?

that is a quite enthusiast grade build for playing non-aaa games. but a nice selection.

Korean monitors are what they are, hard and quite expensive to get, but really nice to have. ...almost like women...

This build is great.  The only thing I would change would be the power supply to a seasonic or a corsair, but the one you have right now is still good.

This is pretty overkill for the type of games you're playing.

If you have money to blow, go ahead but if value if any issue, you can save some money getting cheaper parts that has not much less or the same performance.

He will be using a 1440p monitor, so he will need the horsepower.

I wouldn't change a thing @ Op, looks very good.

The games you play are made to be playable on low end hardware so this build is huge overkill, but if you have the money go for it, always nice to be able to play other games.

At the very least, there's no point getting a h100i for gaming. The v650s also isn't the best psu choice.

There are cheaper options for the motherboard. A seagate barracuda would be a better choice for the hdd.

You are right he could save quite a few bucks. But I think if he is going to get an h100i + Maximus VI Hero, he has some plans for some nice overclocks on his 4670k.

If that is the case, his choices are quite reasonable.

I second going for a cheaper motherboard. If you're not going SLI it's probably a bit overkill.

Absolutely nothing :)

I also hate the Korean monitors, but each to their own.

Okay thanks for the feedback everyone! I play a lot of games and those are just the ones I play right know. I like the Elder Scrolls series a lot and I know that requires quite a bit GPU power!

My plan is to get some pretty decent overclocks, not pushing either the H100i or the 4670K to the limits, just trying to mess around without getting high temps! That's the reason for H100i. And to those of you who says that the Maximus Hero is overkill, I agree! It fits so well in the color scheme and that is one of the reasons I picked.

I've heard that Seagate HDD's have a higher failure rate the WD. The WD is also a bit cheaper here in Denmark and that's why I picked it as well!
