To everyone having issues with Firefox not using any extensions

Mira Yurizaki

Apparently this is the root cause if you're interested: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1548973

But until it gets fixed, here's what you can do:

  • In the address bar, type in about:debugging
  • Press the "Load Temporary Add On..." button
  • Go to %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[profile]\extensions
    • %APPDATA% points to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming
    • [profile] points to whatever profile you're using in Firefox. If you haven't set up any profiles, there should only be one folder in there
  • Load up all of the .xpi files in that folder

EDIT: I'd imagine the location for Linux is in ~/.mozilla/Firefox or something.
