None of these parts are more than about 4-5 months old, with ZEN 2 coming its super likely im gonna change a ton of stuff out. I have original boxes and manuals for everything. Im In canada. If you were gonna sell the stuff what would you price it for and would you try to move it all together or piece it out?

You can reuse most of the parts on Zen 2 - mobo, RAM, CPU cooler, PSU, and case...

R7 2700X/mobo - $550

RAM - $200?

RMx - $175

Case - cases are EXTREMELY hard to sell used

Ya I know cases can be tough, thats why I was thinking of trying to sell all together to start with, Ill probably try local first and if I cant get traction than Ill take it online. Im going a completely different route with cases so this one is just totally unneeded

I'd recommend reusing the board, RAM, and PSU though. They will work great with Zen 2.

Unfortunately they dont fit into the style of the new build im doing, Im willing to be taking a loss on them to replace them with the parts I really wanna be using. This is all of course depending on what we actually get with ZEN 2 once they launch and guys start reviewing them.

Not even the PSU?

This would save vast amounts of money...

PSU is being changed to a TT Toughpower iRGB Plus Platinum. Nothing wrong with the Corsair and they are generally bullet proof, just not what I am wanting in the new case.

Just a note about that thing, you'll likely not be able to see the RGB anyway, with most cases. Even without a PSU shroud, the fan usually points down, so you can't really see it.

Full rgb I suppose. But i would not mind taking 850 or something like that, if I really needed the money.

You probably won't get that high on most of the parts... PC part values go down at a breakneck pace as soon as you open the package.

Ya I kind of am figuring that, I mean $1000 would be .66 ish, I could always use the old parts to build a new work computer too if push comes to shove, it just would be overkill. Or maybe ill stop being a baby and reuse all of it except the processor because in reality there is no reason to not besides me saying "I dont wanna" lol

Were I buying (from my USD perspective), I'd consider something like $500USD a solid price, considering I've still got to go out and get a GPU, and it's clear by the cooling solution that (pretty new or not, I don't know the seller.) the CPU has been overclocking.

Despite what the forum folks say, used gear takes a hit on value just like a car does. Most $30-40k cars lose $7-10k value just driving off the lot to your house.

Again that's a buyer perspective from a guy who is pretty frugal in his buying... Certain parts you have are quite nice, but I could build in the ballpark NEW for less than $650 (again USD, so convert accordingly):

i hear what youre saying, however you arent the type of person I would be looking to sell to. The build you did is using an air cooler, half the ram, a non wifi lower tier board (not saying the tomkahawk isnt  a great board because it is a fantastic board), a smaller power supply and a smaller case. For you the gear I am selling is not what you are looking for obviously. As for the overclocking, when I first got it I DID OC the chip for about a month or so (my prior posts on this forum show this as I was asking questions about it) but after about a month or so I put it back to base settings because for what I was doing it wasnt helping anything really so no point in stressing the chip. The AIO I bought because I didnt want a bigger air cooler in the middle of my board.

Also as for the age of the gear, it was all bought in January or feb and would come with reciepts

I'm not trying to argue with you. Like I said your gear is better in many ways than what's listed. I just think 900-1200 is pretty high advice in the age of enlightened shoppers.

Oh no, I didnt think you were arguing, I was just saying what my stance would be if someone used the list you gave as a counterpoint thats all. Judging by the stuff listed for sale in my local community it appears my market might be better than what you are dealing with where you are. But thats also if the stuff listed is selling, Ill have to keep my eye on the market.
