Frequently Powering On and Off

I have to use my laptop in short bursts. So, I on it and then do the work then shut it down and power on again when I need it.

I do this on an average of 8-10 times a day.

When I am certain I have to use it multiple times I just let it run.

While shutting down I make sure it shuts down properly and it have an SSD so no Harddisk moving part shenanigans.

So, what should I do? Is it okay or should I change my workflow?

Why don’t you just close your laptop... and open it back up when you need it?

Hardly uses any juice when in sleep/standby mode anyways

I reckon modern operating system can utilize the sleep function quite well so there's not much need to shutdown.
