Running out of space on my iPhone

Google Photos. Unlimited space if you use their optimisation algorithm ("fake" lossless compression).

Hey guys, I’m starting to run out of space on my iPhone (it’s only an SE with 16GB) and was wondering if those lightning flash drives really work. I plan on traveling soon and don’t want to run out of space on my trip when I’m taking pictures.

Any opinions on lightning flash drives? Or better ideas?

Dang i wish external hard drives worked with iPhone.

I got a ps5 and a pc pretty ballin

Under settings>Photos Do you have iCloud Photos turned on and set to Optimize iPhone Storage?

Also under settings>iTunes & App Stores turn on Offload Unused Apps if it isn't already turned on.

Settings>General>iPhone Storage  you should see what apps are using the most data on the phone see if anything there you can remove, uninstall any unused apps as well.

I do have iCloud on, I’m also out of space on there. They only give you 5gb of free space.

Agreed, I inform all of my users to utilize Google Photos. It will backup your photos, videos, etc. While you're phone is connected to WIFI. After a while you'll be able to search not only by date or event (if you set an event) but the facial recognition software they have built-in is great when you're trying to find photos of someone in particular. This feature made it much much easier for me to find photos of my grandfather when he passed away instead of having to manually go through well over 50,000 photos.

Buy a phone with expandable storage /s

Cloud storage is definitely an option, lightning flash drives should work though. There are also some bluetooth storage devices I believe.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

If you won't take all 15GB for photos on Google Drive, go for original size because quality. It is worth it if you can manage with that size.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
