Hello

 

anyone who know what ", OEM/Tray" means in the name. Intel Core i9-9900K Processor Socket-LGA1151, 8-Core, 16-Thread, 3.60GHz, Coffee Lake, OEM/Tray?

It is not a boxed retail product. You get the CPU with minimal packaging and nothing else. Normally the OEM CPUs are sold to system builders who have no need for the retail packaging. Also beware warranty is typically different.

came with no box or retail packaging, CPU only.

OEM units don't come with the retail package and have reduced warranty, other than that it's the very same CPU as the retail one.

It's just "the part", not the packaging and fancy stuffs.
