1. Budget & Location

I currently live in Israel, budget is roughly 1700$ or so.

2. Aim

I play lots of CSGO and Fortnite, plan to also stream a little bit with OBS on twitch, I will also play some AAA games etc.

3. Monitors

1 monitor that is 1920x1080 240hz.

4. Peripherals

no.

I have 240hz monitor, and would like CSGO to run 300+fps stable, as well as Fortnite on high frames for the 240hz.

The PC I currently have in mind is:

I7 9700K

Noctua NH-D15

Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X

Corsair 2x8 DDR4 3000mhz cl16 LPX Black

Adata SPX8200 512gb (can switch that to Corsair mp510 if it's better)

Palit RTX 2070 Dual

Fractal design meshify C blackout TG

Antec 120 true-quiet pro fan

Antec Neo-eco 650w modular

Creative soundblaster Z soundcard

So, the questions are, would this all fit together? I don't want the DH-15 block the ram slots or the first PCI as I heard using a GPU on the second PCI lowers performance if I am not mistaken, might just be a myth though. and I'm also connecting a Soundcard to the a PCI slot so I don't want to choke the GPU.

Thanks alot!

I don't think that this is true,so don't worry.

I'd suggest you to get a MSI ARmor 8G 2070 instead the Palit card. I often heard that Palit is not great especially with customer support if something goes broken. The risk is alwyas there so be safe.

Everything looks already, but change the PSU.

What other options for that do you have?

Would replace that for something better

You could also switch the RTX 2070 for an RTX 2060 because the difference in performance is too little, but otherwise everything else looks great

Not many, Antec 650W HCG Gold costs twice as much, so does the Corsair TX650M.

Oh, and I am also connecting a soundcard like I said, I don't want that to interfere with the GPU if it has to connect to the 2nd PCI slot, not sure if it would though.

I also have a soundcard and a GPU and there is no problem. Why should it be anyway? ?

If the DH-15 would force the GPU to be installed on the 2nd PCI slot, and then also connecting a PCI soundcard, might not be a problem at all, I'm just not sure and therefore asking. :D

regarding the GPU, MSI Armor would cost like 200$ worth here, don't think it's worth it, and I am buying it off a store with 3 year warranty, so should be okay I suppose.

Do you have any 550w models available to you? Like Corsair RM550x?

also for 1080p you could opt for a 2060 instead of the 2070.

and as @Hip mentioned, get a Armor 2070 - have one myself and it’s fantastic. Very very good temps.

Ok, 200$ more for that is pretty expensive, either stick to the Palit card then or maybe consider getting a RTX 2060 as @Stormseeker9 and @_Syn_ said before.

But check first if you will be able to get those 240FPS or more for your high refreshrate monitor otherwise you will be disappointed later.

Pretty sure the GPU will fit in the first slot

How about the CX650? or CX550? that's the LEAST i would go to, anything but the Antec Neo Eco

2070 is pushing 200-350 FPS on CSGo at 1440p for me, so I’d say with a 2060 and that 9700k he should be able to achieve those FPS

Good idea, I would recommend the "Seasonic Focus Plus 550W Gold" is enough for that set up. Even has 10 years warranty.

No... that unit has protections issues where it won't boot up with some high end GPUs...

Any 550W units? Even Corsair CX550 or CX450 is good option.

Coolers are usually designed to not interfere with the GPU...

Why are you using a sound card, BTW? Hard to drive headphones? Just having it around already? Because integrated audio is amazing these days...

SOME high end GPUs... really depends on the specific card.

With higher performing, non protection broken units for around the same price, I'd just go for those...
