After CES 2014 and the start of a new year, I started thinking about all the exciting new technology (mantle, g-sync, intel, etc.) Then, I wondered... What will I be buying?

After some thinking, I will be buying the Corsair RGB Mech Keyboard and maybe upgrade to Haswell-E.

But, what will you be buying in 2014?

Feel free to converse over any tech mentioned or mention new to tech and talk about it!

I have already ordered a 4k 24 inch from Dell but once there is a 24inch 4k with g-sync. At the moment my rig is more then fine but once there comes a new Sata or PCIE standard i will get a new CPU+ Motherboard+ GPU+Ram combo. Also i will get the Corsair RGB Mech Keybord (browns) because the duck on my Ducky Shine III annoys me.

The 4k 24's look really nice, but I can't justify that cost, even at under 1000USD. I really want to get more pixels though :( I will envy you.

I'm also gunna get the corsair rgb keyboard as my first ever mechanical keyboard I'm thinking browns. Also a corsair 760t and a custom water loop for my new 290x and will probably upgrade from sandy to broadwell later on also.

Off topic, I know it's been asked so many times, but how much does your waterloop cost?

I was planning on getting an inexpensive kit such as:

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XSPC-RayStorm-750-AX360-V4-Pump-WaterCooling-Kit_39374.html

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/Phobya-Pure-Performance-Watercooling-Kit-360LT_42356.html

and then buying the gpu block for like £90 Yeah uk is really expensive so I probably can't help.

I'm probably picking up a couple of 28" 4K monitors, and might upgrade from Kepler to Maxwell. Both purchases will have to wait until Q3-Q4, not quite trusting 4K releases just yet, and Nvidia wont be releasing any interesting Maxwells for a while..

Cheers,

Linus

Corsair 250D for my new small build, fractal design R4, because I've been putting off buying that case for ages and I want to upgrade over my Corsair carbide 400r.

AT2020 USB microphone, and that's about it really, I want to get a new keyboard, but my quickfire pro has been treating me well, I wouldn't mind a quickfire TK or whatever, the tenkeyless one.

If rift is ready for consumer use, that, same with google glass. Also, If I get a phone with compatibility, Pebble Steel or Qualcomm Toq. The pebble Steel looks great though.

Still waiting for OLED.

I don't care about 4K until movies get released in that format.

Bring on somewhat affordable and reliable 1080p or 1440p OLED.
