Error Codes - Urgent Help!!!

Hello,

 

I have a PC which I was recently using but I was starting to over clock cpu but after changing a couple things and booting it successfully I realised some higher cpu temps so I decided to stay safe and revert all over clocks back to default and reset the bios settings, after doing this I booted up my pc again played some games and shut it down . But when I tried to boot it up in the morning I was left with a black screen and a EB Postcode in the bottom corner I have tried multiple things, if anyone can help tha would be great

Shut down the system, turn off the PSU at the back of the unit, remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Wait a few minutes then put the battery back in, turn the PSU back on, and turn the system back on. This should reset the BIOS to defaults.
Search your motherboard manufacturer for what the error code EB means.

Your motherboard manual will tell you what those error codes are. Please consult your manual.

What is your motherboard model?

Athlon X2 for only 27.31$   Best part lists at different price points   Windows 1.01 running natively on an Eee PC

"Calling legacy option ROMs"

 

BIOS reset may fix it, or possibly some piece of hardware on the board has randomly crapped itself.

Well that’s just gr8 any ideas on what I have replaced GPUs but that’s not it

So intel boards are very sketchy when it comes to overclocking. Some say you can overclock, others say you cant. 

 

With you legacy option ROMs, i checked in google and this came up:

Refer to that as it may fix your issue.

 

Note: What others suggested above with the CMOS battery should be the first option you try as its the simplest.

I just tried resetting the bios via removing the cmos battery however this has not changed the fact that I’m getting the EB post code

Try to do a recovery update.

 

Download the recovery BIOS here (download the *.BIO file):

I tried to replace the cpu but still had EB postcode so it can only be the hard rice or ram, I will try ram as I have more I will swap out two at a time.

So I got the computer working by unplugging the DVD rom drives but this means I can no longer use dvds does anyone know what I can do
