R5 2500 vs 8250u laptop for encoding!

Hi

I need a laptop for encoding and videoediting mostly 1080 or 720p, h265 video files!

What you reccomend? Which is the better cpu here? It will be mostly used as a desktop pc, wired with the cable! But sometimes i need to transport so i need it as a laptop!

I do not do any game!

just search for multicore benchmark of the two CPUs, encoding performance is about equal to synthetic benchmarks

what exact models of laptop are you looking at first? 8250U is faster but if the other parts are bad, you still shouldn't buy it.

8250u is better since you can increase its tdp to 30w(default is either 15,10 or 25)

Im particular

I need a laptop without pwm on display and at least 80% srgb coverage.

Then ill look for the best cpu for h265 endcoding. I need to record drawing process from a webcam attached to the pc!

If it has removable and upgradable components (expecially wifi card) it would be the right one!

Yeah i know is difficult to find!

I have 500€ budget

If you find one at 800/900€ is good because om gonna buy it used

I know it's better, but mobile soldered CPUs like these come bundled with everything so you can't just consider that.

Any links of online stores in your country that sell laptops? Prefer min how many hours of battery life? Mind non-upgradable RAM?

Hmm better upgradable but show me  soldered anyway (min 8gb ram).

I buy from amazon!

Battery life is not a problem i will use it wired. But if you want more than 4h of bt life.

Important thing are the pwm, 70>sRgb and other stuff i wrote up in the first or third post :)

PWM depends on the display you'll get (which is a lottery since manufacturers source display panels with similar quality from different vendors)

And please no pwm at all i suffer also from high frequency pwm. If maybe pwm is used onlt for the 20 or 30% brightness setting, and there is not pwm above tjis setting would be okay! :)

also for the money, i have 400/500€ i think its better to say, i hope i can find one used. I opted fot a 8250u CPU because i do video encoding in h,265 but i need a laptop. If you have any other cpu suggestion, youre welcome

Unfortunately there isn't a model with high sRGB display+upgradable RAM in your budget. Can consider Thinkpad L390 Yoga/L380 Yoga

Display change will cost you quite a lot, not to mention the extra work you have to do
