You don't need much for that CPU, any mobo 450 will do.

But if you want for future proof, the Tomahawk will do good and or the 450 Steel legend.

I own a R5 1600X with a A320 chipset mobo right now. I bought this due to money being a thing and needing to save. I am now im a position to upgrade and have also purchased a AIO to allow for better OCing, hence the need to change chipsets due to A320 not supporting OCing.

Should I upgrade to a B350 Mobo or go for B450 Mobo, i am not 100% of the problems of getting the 450 as in my mind it should be absolutly fine with no issue bar a couple of things being locked due to not being a Gen 2 CPU, but i should still be able to OC ect...

I am looking at the:

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK (Socket AM4/B450/DDR4/S-ATA 600/ATX)

To Buy, but want to be sure before i do that i wont have any issue with it what so ever. I also couldnt find a B350 board that was the right colour/size/price range. i also hear that when OCing you want a decent Heatsink on the chipset and this one seems to have really good reviews.
