It continually changes

Initially you'll still have a fair bit of your ssd but over time temp files and such grow, windows update etc

You'll probably have ~20-30GB of free space with w10 and software

Just got a crucial ssd 120gb, just enough to satisfy me with a couple games and windows, but i was wondering what the total windows 10 64 size is? how much will i have left over on my ssd after windows 10 is installed?

Undeterminable, as Windows 10 will install varying levels of bloat depending on how much free space it sees.

The smallest I've seen is ~10 GB, but as far as Windows knew it was interminably small (growing disk in a VM)

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

so you're estimating windows taking 90-100gb?

Base install is about 14gb(you can install windows 10 64 bit on a 16gb ssd, ive done it). But then swap and hiber file is about 10+gb, and updates can easily be 10+gb, Id guess about 40-50gb total.

For footprint I've always stuck with at least 100GB.  However SSD drives like a certain amount of free space and 250GB drives are now dirt cheap.  So I always say 250GB for a minimum.
