how do we get the isp in out are to install  more fiiber to home instead of this 5g  whch is not near as good for gaming and such fell going a step bacword  in time just for more mony to isp

First of all Fiber is not cheap or easy to install. If you live in a rural area you will NEVER see Fiber. Its just not economical do run the Fiber lines to very few houses. Fiber only makes sense in the city, where houses are on top of each other. Same thing applies to Cable internet as well, population density plays a big role. Comcast puts like 130 people on a fiber node, meaning they need to have 130 people with in the distance allowed by coax. If you want better internet, live in the city. Even then you might only have access to one provider. In my case, we only have Comcast.

As far as TV is concerned, I think they should not be allowed to own the content. As far as mobile is concerned, again rural areas, they 4G and 5G hopeful in the near future, thats how its going to be. The only way Fiber will ever be ran to every one is if the government aka the tax payers pay for it. Even then these companies will fight it tooth an nail and the conservatives in the government will be talking communism and socialism like they always do with any government handout or social program.

Its expensive as fuck. Thats what you dont understand. These companies want money. Most of them over sell their network so they make massive profits. Remember we live in the United States of Corporate America. All these fucks care about is more profit. Im telling you Rural America wont see a major ISP install Fiber EVER. Not unless they get tax dollars to pay for it. I know for a fact Comcast refuses to go in to rural areas and Verizon and AT&T cherry picks areas to deploy Fiber. Generally in well populated RICHER areas that have money.

Keep in mind its not that easy to start an ISP. There are state and federal regulations. Equipment that has to be bough. Also, you have to pay for bandwidth. You have to have a connection point to the internet. You think thats cheap? You think that someone like Comcast, Level 3, etc are just going to give you cheap bandwidth. Thats not how it works in the real world. OH and not to mention if you intend to use utility poles that already exist, then you have to pay rent on those to who ever owns them. Google had issues with this down in Nashville. Then you gotta pay guys to string up that cabling. You need some kind of network engineer who knows how to design the topology of the network. Its not just as simple as stringing some cable. Then you need some one to handle billing customers and cashing checks and such, as well as deal with paying the FCC, State/City franchise fees, etc.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Im not sure what you're using, because Verizon wireless doesn't exist anymore... Its called Frontier.

Regardless, you will not get anything from them. The corporation are full of money grubbing cunts. I've had to deal with them for the past 14 years, as they are the only ISP with reliable connection in my area.

And they sure as hell know it. What I pay for to get 75/75, I could get 200/10 on Spectrum. Swap ISP's if you can, don't give your money to Frontier.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta

People don't realize how expensive being an ISP is.

You need multiple millions to even start a small one to do it right and that's before hiring the staff you will need.

Oh and the year or so before you begin making a profit off the customer so you can then spend that profit in expanding

Um..... Verizon Wireless still exists. If your talking Verizon FIOS, thats also exists too. Frontier bought some of Verizon's unwanted areas. Some of which contained FIOS customers.

It died off in my area, they operate as frontier here. I had assumed that carried elsewhere, sorry for the confusion ?‍♂️

Verizon gigabit is not bad at all, I mean is it usually actually gigabit, no, but honestly its pretty fast and can do pretty much anything you need it to do. While as a whole ISPs suck in the US verizon gigabit is a great offering competitive with pretty much anywhere else. Seriously though I spent a summer last year at the beach getting sub 1mb a second.
