Cant run games without vsync.

I can run most games without vsync such as battlefield 5 and overwatch. but for games like metro exodus if i turn off vsync the stuttering and screen tearing make the game practically unplayable. Anyone have any suggestions?

disable vsync ingame and enable fast sync in the nvidia control panel on a per game basis

I have a vega gpu so I can't use the nvida control panel.

Thanks, that eliminated the screen tearing but the stuttering is still there.

then lower the graphics settings, your frame rate is too low.

I thought that at first too, but the games running at 100fps.

What's your rig's specs? A lot of modern titles, especially Forza Horizon 4 are very RAM hungry.

Gpu is running at about 70 degrees cpu at 50

use msi afterburner, look at the graph when the stuttering occurs

I currently have 16 GB of ram a vegas 56 and a core i5 8400. Games like overwatch and battlefield 5 run perfectly with vsync on or off but forza horizon 4 and metro exodus will not run without vsync. There are both a stuttery mess. Is there anyway to fix this?

How do you fix Stuttering? You use V-Sync or get a FreeSync panel xd.

I do have freesync but it wont work with forza horizon or metro exodus for some reason.

Use Radeon drivers soft to limit FPS to 3FPS below your refresh rate.
