Hey Guys, I already have 1080 TI, got it 7 months ago for 450$. And i have 4k monitor. It still can run games atleast at high settings and get 60fps at that resolution. But i thought about SLI. What is your opinion? if i stick to 4k and i am fine as far as i am getting 4k 60fps.

I'd rather not gamble on SLI support in games, sometimes they do well sometimes they don't.

SLI is virtually dead but if you have spare cash that you can freely spend without issue pick up a second-hand one on somewhere such as eBay.

I would recommend under no circumstances anyone go out and purchase a second card brand new for SLI, even if you use money as toilet paper.

There is plenty 1080 TI for 400$ and even less, I would grab second one for that price or if i am lucky for less. But maybe ill ask my mate to lend me his 1080 TI, so i would know for sure.

If you can get a 1080Ti for less than $400, go for it.  Great price!

Let us know how it works.

Tho I'd take that $400 and the proceeds from selling your monitor and get a 1440p Ultrawide.  4K Gaming isn't worth it yet.

SLI support is limited and generally not worth the money you'll end up paying, it's probably better to save for a 2080 Ti...

i have option to get 2080 TI brand new for 800eur, but.... It's was stolen from manufacture warehouse.... Yeah i know it's indeed bad and not legal at all. But i found a dude who knows people, who bring those Gpu's from abroad for half as much... Price is tempting... But..

Bragging about stolen goods is kind of lame and uhm.. stupid?

Id do it. Better frames than a single 2080ti. Assuming the cpu wont be an issue. Id take poor support over poor frames any day.
