I decided to build myself a new PC. But can't decide which RTX 2070 I should go with.

I've used all 3 brands before. The only thing that concerns me is, by a few people just not on Newegg, that the Gigabyte card has issues. Quite a few people have claimed the card has died within 35 days of using.

My monitor is a ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q 27" 1440p 144hz

EVGA if you just want a good card with good customer service.

Gigabyte if you want a backplate (EVGA doesn't have one).

Never an MSI Armor.

Gigabyte is probably the worst of the three brands presented here. Personally I'd probably take the EVGA card, but I think the MSI looks the best.

Save up for the cheapest RTX 2080, consider second hand GTX 1080 Ti

The RTX 2070 is a scam, it is 8% faster on average than a RTX 2060 but costs like almost the double already, in some games the RTX 2060 and 2070 actually perform identically.

It's either save up your money play with lower settings using the RTX 2060 or save up for a RTX 2080 and play with all the eye candy.

Maybe things are different where you are but 2070 is about 40-ish % more than 2060 here, and the 2080 is about double a 2060.

On the OP question, I own the Gigabyte 2070 mainly as it was the cheapest non-MSI card I could get at the time. It's worked without fuss in the time I've had it, but I don't really game on it and only use it for compute like uses, where it punches far above its reported gaming speeds. Faster than my 1080Ti at lower power.
