What games are you upgrading your PC for?

Almercenary

If any, what parts are you putting in your PC to make it ready for 'next gen'. Personally its Witcher 3 and GTA V and I might get a second 7970 or a GTX 780

Until my 660 can't run games at at least medium settings, I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon.

I upgraded day after BF4 beta came out because i had like 20-40fps at medium-low. I bought that PC when Battlefield 3 came out and it was perfectly fine for Bf3. It was Amd FX-4100 and Asus 560ti. I think i would upgrade next time when Star citizen launches. It definitely needs beefier Gpu.

Signature is for bragging what's inside your case right? Hmm. so here it is.

Core i7 4770k @4.2Ghz Cooled by Noctua NH-U12P SE2 - Asus Maximus VI Hero - 8GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX Genesis - Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 4GB - 2 Kingston HyperX 3K 120Gb SSDs And WD black 1TB - Corsair HX750 aaand that's pretty much it

When I buy a GPU its to MAX Details, when it starts slowing down, I drop to 2xAA instead of 4-8xAA, when thats too much for it, I get a new GPU.

My 7950 (with its hefty OC) is still going strong and I'd say I'd not need to upgrade for a game just yet,..although the sweet spot for performance/details is getting worse....

When I get 1440p (a month maybe), is when I am upgrading the GPU again.

I thought Crysis 3 SP/MP may kill my 7950 and was prepared to upgrade, turns out that personally, I think its shit... don't like it and don't play it MP anyway.

BF4 was the next game I thought maybe... When BF4 works, it works great, no need just yet.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

TBH i have no idea.  They are pretty cheap atm in Australia, so I think I may pick one up, that way I can go SLI with it later, rather than having 3 7970's lined up making a racket.  Hopefully at least high, maybe even ultra depending on the graphical difference. I can run TW2 on a 7970 OC on high, so the 780 should defiantly be able to do high.

At 1080p it should have no problem. But yes, I upgraded my gpu for a variety of games Witcher 3 being towards the top.
