£450 is way more than 450€, it's in British Pounds, not Euros.

He paid like 3 to 4 times the actual worth of the old PC.

oh.. then both the PC and the GTX 1070 are horribly priced...

1920 x 1080 but i got it as 144hz but it only runs at 60hz.

If you're on Windows 10 You need to go into Display Settings, scroll down till you find Advanced Display Settings, click on Display adapter Properties then go to Monitor and select 144hz

Maybe the monitor is using an old HDMI standard and it doesn't support 144hz through HDMI, so you would need DVI then

Again tried it and doesnt work, It is called a 144hz monitor but I have tried literally everything and it doesnt so going to give it back too

No, you need a DVI-D cable, it uses a old version of HDMI that doesn't support 144hz but DVI does

Here's a build suggestion for your 450 if you get it back! (If you keep your 1070, ignore 259 for that 1660Ti which is a great overclocker. I'd personally return the 1070 if you can get your 330 back, since the GPU listed is a better deal and equally powerful!)

It's not top of the line, (I'd call it a budget beast.) but it will certainly run the games you wanna play! (That RAM is comparably a great deal in your market out there.)

just chatting with him now, he reckons that it was a good deal since he paid £544 with parts and sold it for £450

I'd part it out. It will make the process longer, but potentially more profitable. The 1050Ti will get you a decent chunk, the RAM will get you a bit, Might as well hang on to the drives and save that cash. The mobo and cpu you might get a bit for in combo.

Check out like ebay, letitgo, facebook marketplace and Mercari in your region to see what pricing looks like out there.

Another great parts list. I DO recommend the ASRock Pro4 over the Gigabyte Micro ATX board listed here for a number of reasons. BUT the vega 56 is a suitable replacement for the 1660Ti listed if you didn't want it (and to be clear, there are cheaper 1660Ti's, that one is just a really high grade cooler for a REALLY comparable price.) That said I'd still take the XC Black myself

Nice list!!
