H55 AIO pump not moving water fast enough

I have a Corsair H55 to cool an AMD FX 8350.

I know the CPU runs hot but it I stress the CPU it eventually gets way above the 61C that I am comfortable with. I gather that 61C is the max recommended temp.

Feeling the AIO pipes, the radiator exit is pretty cold and the water coming back is pretty warm.

If I touch the radiator, the hot side is hot but the cold side is pretty chill.

I know the pump is running because the temps fall fast enough when I idle the CPU and there is a pretty big temperature differential at the rad.

I have the pump plugged into the CPU header and the stats say that it is running at 1523 RPM.

My thinking is that the cooler should be adequate but that the pump is just not up to the job to move the liquid fast enough.

I want to run some BOINC work, but I have to throttle it at around 70% because of the temps.

What does anyone think? Is this a common experience? Is the AIO not up the job?

60 degrees on full load? That's nothing. Even 80,85+ is okay.

Wrong af^

AMDs specs say 61C max. I worry about pushing it much higher than that.

Would you say that 61C is a bit conservative?

Okay, I stand super corrected. From what I gather, 61C is the rated maximum temp for the cores, not the CPU temp. I don't know which one you checked.

Still though, I wouldn't feel bad driving this chip higher even if it wasn't nearing it's end of life stage.

It is a single rad cooler, so there's only so much it can handle. Especially at 125W tdp.
