Now i have never heard of one GPU port dieing and taking down a bunch of mobo devices with it and then coming back to full functionality a few hours later, And that is how i came to the conclusion it was the CPU/Mobo combo.

Just for kicks did you have him try reinstalling the drivers for the devices that went missing just to see if the board had any life left in that stuff?  Like the NIC or chipset drivers?  If the reinstall of those drivers flat out fail I would 100% agree that the board is trash and it's time to return it. 

 

Don't blame a good (and long overdue competition) AMD CPU line for the failings of going way too cheap on the supporting motherboard.
