I would say when you're under 16 (the US says it's when you're under 18). I say that because the brain is more developed and they're capable of knowing to take a step back when they need to. Little kids don't, they'll just continue to get frustrated and whine until the problem is solved for them.

Adults ask for help because they know that they have the ability to work through the process of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining their computer. You have to have some level competence to be able to work through more complex situations, much like computers and tech in general tend to be.

I wouldn't say that its really a form of censorship, OP doesn't exactly clarify if these are his kids or not, so in the case that they aren't his kids then it would be understandable that he wouldn't want them to be "learning new words" when he shows them his videos.
