RTX 2060 or RTX 2070 for that price difference?

Hi guys, i do not live in US, so, the lowest prices here where i live are as follows:

Galax RTX 2060 EX White: $430

Galax RTX 2070 EX White: $665

So, is the $235 difference worth it or no?

I play at 1080p 144hz.

Nope, I'd go with the 2060.

Hi, thanks for your answer. I forgot to say that i can also take a 9 month old gtx 1080ti Strix for $750. Do you think it's worth it or the brand new RTX 2060 would be better for the price?

Nope, the RTX 2070 is 9% on 35 games average hardware unboxed done last, you're paying far too much for just a few extra fps, in fact some games it's goes as bad as not even showing a difference.

If your CPU can handle it then yes, but honestly the 2060 is definitely the best value.

Hi Guys, 2070 just dropped in price here! Now it's for the most basic 2070 Gainward model $572 vs $430 for the RTX 2060 Galax Ex White. Now that the difference in price is $142, do you think it's worth considering or the RTX 2060 still wins?

Well... You'll be getting GTX 1080 performance for GTX 1080 pricing, 2~3 years ago. If that's okay with you then go for it, the RTX 2070 is a good card, there can only ever be a bad price~

Save the money and buy the 2060. The 2070 is only a 13% performance increase, if you want something better than a 2060 get a used 1080ti for the same price as a 2070.

Sadly, a used 1080ti costs $750 here. $180 more than the rtx 2070 and $320 more than rtx 2060

I use a 1080p 144hz monitor and I bought the 2060, I don’t regret it at all, well worth the $360 I paid for it. I had a rx580 8gb card and gained 50%+ FPS which was needed to keep up with the new monitor.

The 2070 just isn’t worth it at the price difference. I’m really surprised the way nvidia released the cards this time. The 2070 isn’t much faster then the 2060 and it’s a good chunk more price wise.

Considering 2070 is around 10-15% faster than that 2070 costs 55% more, I'd say not a chance. Even considering full system costs, it's still probably a bad value.
