I9-9900K HIGH temperatures

I have a strange one for you but you can't judge me for playing Fortnite. I was playing Fortnite, about 3 Hours in the CPU temps were extreme and I only noticed because my PC sounded like it was about to take flight. After a restart, no problem for another 3 hours. I can't even replicate the temps running Prime95 for 10 min. I have an i9-9900k at STOCK speed with a 360MM AIO water cooler. Below are the two snips. PLEASE HELP.

To add, I used mx4 for the thermal paste

with a water loop you have to run it 30+ minutes, until temps stop rising to determine the cooling capabilities. 9900k runs pretty dang hot, what case do you have and how do you have your rad set up (front intake, top exhaust?)

I have a feeling something is wrong with that AIO. I should have mentioned that the Cooler Master AIOs are absolute garbage when I was helping you pick parts.... Fuck. 

 

@Spotty is right. Check the pump. Feel the tubes or water block to see if theres vibration.

I just realized his case has choked airflow.

 

I was wrong, I was thinking of a different case.

rad front mounted intaking cold air (3 120mm) and 3 120mm exaust (2 top and 1 back)

That i made sure of!  and i have gamed for 12 hours straight before no problem.... that's why it's strange!

I did verify that the pump was running through the gigabyte software, should I open the case and double make sure?

might remount and reseat and new thermal paste but i feel like this is not the issue...I could be wrong though..

Figured it out. It was Gigabytes "multi-core enhancement". Its trash and you should always manually overclock, mine was on by default. 

 

Edit: Later found out this was due to a malicious bug with Intel set chips. As of 3/6/19, there is no release for a fix for it yet.
