PNY GTX1070Ti ?

tonymc

I have the possibility to acquire the PNY GTX1070Ti video card at a good price from a friend, but I have no reference to the PNY graphic card assembler.
I would like to hear opinions about it, thanks in advance for your answers.

PNY are OK

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Looks exactly like my PNY 1050 Ti except with another fan and more heatsink area. It's a good card. You don't hear much about them for some reason, probably because they just work and don't give a lot of issues.

Had a 1080, it was the coolest gpu I had and required the least voltage and power to match overclocks.

I’m talking about water blocks on them though. Really surprised me. Haven’t had one of their cards since my 550ti’s

It is a fairly simple heat sink, so it reaches about 3-6 degrees more temperature than the competition with heatsinks of higher quality, I've seen it reach about 76 degrees C with the most demanding games with 25 degrees C temperature environment, I think it is a very good temperature for a graphics card of that range, however I have seen in reviews of custom models of asus and gigabyte that sometimes not even exceed 70 degrees C, I am concerned in this case the issue of quality of manufacture of the VRM and the use of memory VRAM Micron for example, but I agree with your approach if you do not hear much of them is because there are not many problems or rather because they are not very popular and are bought less than the competition. that given the price of 220 USD, I have already made a decision.
