New built pc doesnt boot to win with usb drive.

Hi

My friend has built a new pc. When he gets to the uefi bios he can see the recognized usb and other stuff and then when he presses on boot with usb drive win10 logo shows up and underneath the win logo its showing that its loading and then monitor says "no signal". So the logo shows up with the loading time for like 4 secs. 

Any help is appreciated :)

More info on the system, what's the motherboard? Different USB? USB made with the Windows download tool, Rufus or?

Gygabyte aorus x470 ultra gaming..

He tried every usb port.

Win download tool.

Is he the one from last night and are you the expert that was supposed to come to check it out today?

I remember replying to someone with exactly the same problem with the same motherboard model.

I recommended flashing the UEFI to F6 which improves USB device compatibility.

Yes i am and he is not the expert.The expert said that it is because of the motherboard i should change it he said

But you still haven't done the one and only actual thing that would fix your problem...

 

Not everyone is an expert. I'm just an engineer who deals with such stuff on a regular basis.

And btw I own the same model motherboard in my personal rig.

Updated to F6 still no signal after boot...

Wait, now you loose signal after the UEFI screen? It doesn't start from the USB?

Have you set the board to boot from the USB at all?

Is the same ,since the start i lose signal after i press the the boot option for the usb.I posted the picture to show you the f6 version..Do you have other ideas man?

I would try booting a Linux from a USB flash drive. Or installing Windows from an external DVD drive. Or lend a DVD drive, connect it to the PC and install from it.

I'd then disconnect everything not strictly needed (leave a single stick of ram, a single drive etc) and retry.

Big update : just noticed the 1 fan of the graphic card doesnt work,i think i am close

Are both power cables connected to the GPU?

Yes both are connected , the one fan spin but the other dont.The question is ,does it not spit on purpose because the card doesnt need it (smart fan) or is defect

If it were on purpose no fans would run till a certain temperature is reached.

 

Have you tried taking the card out and re-installing it in the PC?
