Oh I see why he's involved now, but still not really "racially motivated" because the action wasn't taken due to ObbyRaidZ' race but rather due to his racism. Still extortion, a group trying to get money they feel like they are owed in an illegitimate way.

It's hard not to get involved. But Google should take some responsibility here. I mean, just how many people have been ass fucked by this type of thing? Too many to count I'm sure. We hear about this sort of thing all the damn time. Maybe Google needs a whole separate legal team for this very sort of thing.

Now that would be a lot of effort, trying this hard to justify the false claims and being really self righteous about it, but not being self righteous in the demands? Fishy that they didn't use any sort of Justice-talk when demanding the money.

This...right...here is exactly why I learned how to find people over the internet.  Its REALLY NOT THAT HARD.  And the best part...the people who taught me...do much nastier things to nefarious individuals and Corporations. 

 

There is enough information available to begin this search.  Undoubtedly.  Someone needs to find these peoples real life Social Media Accounts, that's the first step in getting this fixed.  But alas, my skills are for myself only.

it's easier to believe your lies when you actually believe them yourself, people go to great lengths to doctor or accuse or misdirect to double down on their delusions. it's not an uncommon thing people go to great lengths to do what they do, he's extorting money and justifying his actions by calling the OP racist, let that sink in for a moment.

Copyright laws and what can be sued over or claimed. And this happens to Youtube the most because its a creators platform, by far the largest.

I'm just imagining how much juicier this story would be if the victim of the false claims was secretly the perpetrator as well and his friends used a fake account to make him look good.

Everyone knows you need to be careful what you say on the internet, esp. with this stuff. People take tweets especially out of context. It's still an abuse of the copy strike system, but seeing as they went through with the third strike anyway (No monetary gain to be found and lost all their hopes of getting any), means they are either very thick or are angry at  the YouTuber.

 

I just feel is a lot to go for little gain, maybe if this group had done it before to another YouTuber, or they were targeting a YouTuber who didn't have tweets like that.
