Smart TV not so smart

Hi. I have an issue with JVC smart tv. I'm based in the UK and recently moved house the new talk talk router works fine but I have problem with the TV which for some reason requires me to set up the WiFi password each time I put the TV in standby. Once connected it works fine until powered down then the next time I switch on I have to set up the password again. I read something about duel channel hubs or assigning channels to the TV , dns, ip address etc. Does anyone know what this issue is and can you explain it as simple as possible so I can try and fix it, coz it's driving me nuts, cheers

Not versed in this but Ive read a few things, one of those is to input manually the SSID of the router delivering the wireless signal within the TV options (the SSID is the name of your Network...like FBI Surveillance Van etc)

And make sure your network is not set to HIDE the SSID of your network (per JVC website)
