Anthem. What should I upgrade for better performance?

MrCool127

I got the beta demo to anthem, and I want a better gaming experience with a more stable FPS and being about to put up the graphics settings. I am currently playing on low at 1080x1920 and getting around a stable 60 until I get to combat, it drops significantly. I want to play at least on medium with stable FPS and no stutters.  Any help on what I should upgrade? I was think ram or even the CPU.

Specs

Ryzen 3 1200 3.7ghz

Gtx 1060 3gb

8gb ddr4 2400 ram

b350 proVDH mobo

Open the task manager while the fps drop happens and see which component is at 100% usage.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

It’s usually the CPI and gpu. The ram is using up around 6.2 gn of the 8

So cpu is at 100%? Then i would replace it with a r5 1600

No No, believe me, get an i7 as minimum i7 7700K, or recommended 8700K and have piece in mind, this is an open world game that needs a multi threaded CPU.

smooth game play = Fast CPU.

No. R5 1600 has 6c 12threads, while i7 7700k only has 4c 8threads. The 8700k is a better recommendation as it is also 6c 12t,but makes no sense, as he would have to buy a new motherboard, and would only get a few more fps.

The fact is that rhe r5 1600 is about 2-3 x cheaper then the i7's, but still gets the job done.

if it is 6 cores 12 threads means great. or if you mothebaord support, you can get the ryzen 7 1800 8 cores 16 threads

Try to get r5 2600 instead, better for gaming out of the box.

I wouldn't base your fps off the demo I hear the build was 6 months old and there was a LOT of adjustments done since then.  If they try to heavily monetize it you may not even WANT to play.
