Anyone know any cheap ways to make international calls?

Hi all,

I need to call someone in South Africa but international calls on my phone are very expensive (£1.50 a minute). 

Does anyone know a cheap way I can call them?

I have a voip account but I haven't used it for years. Turns out that calling to South Africa is £0.04 per minute so definitely going to try that out.

facebook, discord, google voice, skype, just to name a few that have voice calling (and video)

Skype and WhatsApp are both fairly standard for international calls.
