it's not a downgrade if you can't use the CPU without the right motherboard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

What CPU do you have?

You might just need to update your BIOS depending on your CPU.

@fasauceome

@1kv

i would have to buy a cheap first gen apu to update bois, to me its not worth it, but if it did run on the b350 what would be the performance drop on the cheaper board?

You don't have to buy one. AMD will send you one out for free as long as you return it. Go to https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100#faq-Short-Term-Processor-Loan-Boot-Kit.

@1kv oh...

i still don't want to really mess with that, im not very good with software/firmware... to me it seems like it would not change it very much
