Is this a UML state diagram?

 

EDIT: Figured it out, it looks like a class diagram. The lines were throwing me off.

 

As long as you're following the convention described in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class_diagram, it should be fine.

 

Though I feel the organization of what you presented could use some clean up.

Thats what i thought in the beginning, but as a starter it can get pretty overwhelming the first time you make a project with like 50+ classes. need some structure :D
Also i have to draw these for school, good practice

Tons of businesses use UML or something similar. Just because your job title doesn't have "architect" in it doesn't mean that no one is having to design complex systems...
